Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 whole wheat hamburger buns
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 8 slices tomato
- 8 slices cooked turkey bacon
- 4 tablespoons avocado mayo
Instructions:
Put breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, salt, and black pepper in a bowl with ground turkey
Combine well
Make 4 equal portions of the mixture and shape them into patties
Set a grill or a pan on medium heat
The patties should be cooked for 5 to 6 minutes on each side, or until they are done
Cook the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until they are crisp
Put a tablespoon of avocado mayo on each half of the bun
On the bottom half of each bun, put a cooked turkey patty
Add two slices of tomato, two slices of turkey bacon, and a lettuce leaf to the top of each patty
Place the top half of the bun on top and serve
